I Paid Fifty Cents for Each Bottle!

I know its been a while since my last blog post but my schedule has been so busy. I really miss blogging and writing articles. Life has been super busy especially since my husband and I sent my daughter off to college. I strongly suggest that parents (as early as possible) get a college fund for their children or a savings strictly for this. As we all know sending kids off to college can be very exspensive.

When I started this blog and my group on facebook years ago the emphasis was more on couponing and helping people save.  Helping people earn money has also been a passion. The concept is still the same but I must admit that couponing and comparing prices can be time consuming. There was a time when I clipped coupons daily but I've been just too busy to do this especially on the level that I did it before.

So my story is that I stop, I start, I stop, and start again. I am couponing again to help my daughter while she is in school plus I have a few goals that I am working on. I wanted to share with you all how I managed to get this deal just in my first week back on the coupon haul.

A lot of stores have Suave Professionals shampoo on sale right now. I know that Kroger and Family Dollar has it. Try not to mistake the Suave dollar shampoo for this one. For the record, I absolutely do not like most dollar shampoos because I notice after just a few uses that my hair starts to dry out. I tried this one some time ago and love it. Usually this shampoo cost about three dollars.

Here's a breakdown to show how I purchased each one for fifty cents.

1. I went to a Kroger as you can see that marked the shampoo down for only a dollar and fifty cents.

2. Then after searching my Ibotta app, I noticed that Ibotta is giving a dollar cash back for anyone that purchases the shampoo or conditioner (up to 5 each) So ching ching! The rest is history. Ibotta added six dollars to my account plus I received the in store mark down price. All I paid for each bottle is .50. Now I did not have coupons but if I did I could actually received them free plus earned money just for shopping. I will have to wait until my Ibotta account reaches $20 before I can cash out but I can do this quick. In fact I just cashed out.

Here's Payment Proof!

Pictured is a cash payment sent to my paypal account from Ibotta plus an email confirmation for the conditioner. The confirmation for the shampoo is not in the image below since I did them separate.

It's pretty simple! If you don't use Ibotta I strongly suggest you download the app on your phone. You can even create an account by clicking here. https://ibotta.com/r/nmsbyrf

What I love about using Ibotta is that you can combine store deals and use coupons with the app. Do you receive food stamps? You can still use the app. Do you need to earn extra cash? Start earning today! For best results search Ibotta and compare deals along with coupon savings before shopping trips.
