Using Your Gifts and Talents to Help You Earn Money

I've been a stay-at-home mom almost 20 years now believe it or not. I made the decision when the whole stay-at-home mom thing was fairly new. I was talked about and called lazy by people that said they loved me but......:) Little that they new, I always had a plan. Not only was I smart but I had several gifts, trades, and talents that I could use to help support my family.

I haven't had a job away from home in all these years but I can tell you that I have always managed to support myself. I do not need to depend on my husbands income, I am self sufficient, and I still have the independence that stay-at-home moms need. In terms of thinking about what works for you. Think about things that you are good at and how you can turn those skills into dollars.

Yow may be able to type well. So you could start a desk top publishing company from your home. You may be able to bake well so you could do like I did and start a cake business or a catering business. You could sell cake slices at events and even get people you trust to sell them for you. You could also have three major yard sells a year if you are in a good traffic area. Try selling your gently used clothes to consignment stores. 

I'll be totally honest, some people lack in the area of business but if you want to be successful at home and feel you do not have natural skills, you must educate your self so that you can make profits. All of the things above I have done or still do and even more. If you follow this blog I will brake down step by step, how to be successful in those areas.  There are even places online where you can take courses or tutorials free. Visit the site and learn where you can take free and paid courses online. Take advantage of tutorials on Youtube.

Stay encourage and treat your home business or way to earn extra money as if it is just as professional as any other business because a lot of the most successful people started their business at home.
