I felt the same way. This time two years ago I started my Ebay business. I did not have a clue about what I was doing. When times get hard people are willing to try something new, and that's what I did. I no longer allowed fear to be a driving force in my life. Honestly I had nothing to loose and I started my Ebay business for free. You can start listing items on auction for free or have your own Ebay store. Either way you can start a business for pennies or nothing at all. I suggest you start with the free auction and then look into the Ebay store.
I didn't even know how to upload pictures of things that I wanted to sell. I did not know what to sell. I tried a few things to see what would happen and to my amazement my listings were selling and my money was transferred straight to my paypal account that is needed in order to get paid from Ebay sales. (paypal.com) This is a free account. Ebay and paypal however do charge fees for handling your transactions. The fees are so low that if you learn how to charge and not over charge potential clients then you can earn a decent living. Also you need to charge the right shipping amounts and if you have something that is potentially breakable upon shipping you should check with your local postal carrier to see how much insurance will be on the item and the tracking number. Then on your Ebay description section make sure you indicate that these amounts will be paid by the customer.
Take the time to search Ebay to see what people are bidding on and how much bids are on items. Keep your bids as low as possible and if people are not bidding on things you have that are already listed on Ebay, don't waste your time listing those items on Ebay.
The most interesting thing is that. most of the time people have things in their own home that will sell on Ebay and don't even know it. So the next time you think about planning a yard sell. Think about Ebay first. (no Ebay is not paying me! :) Ebay.com I am a blog and article writer.

The book shows how I use social media and other marketing methods to increase sales. The other book is a wonderful book I bought that teaches a person from A to Z everything they need to know about Ebay. I bought the book when I got to the point that I was tired of trying to figure out Ebay's system. The book is so easy-to-follow and for about 20.00, it was well worth it because I was able to triple sales just after reading the book. Believe it or not there are Ebay millionaires out there. No I am not one of them but I will get there!!!

So large companies pay $1,000,000's of dollars every month to the average person. In return, the average person, like me and you, fills out surveys and gives them their opinion.
